Groovy Outfit an Eclectic Mixture

Who: Groovejet
Where: QWB - Queens Wharf Brewery
Author: Jade Lazarevic
When: Saturday August 11, 2001

Originally working as a performer in the UK, Groovejet's lead singer Jo Jones has come a long way to become the voice behind the new covers band.

The four-piece group performs a mix of pop, rock and dance tracks dating from the 70s right up to the new millennium.

Jones has teamed with three of Australia's best musicians including former Utopian Babies member Matt Cornell. Drummer Steve Fuller has built a reputation as one of Australia's most talented drummers and is also a great vocalist.

Guitarist Gary Arnold has worked in a number of popular bands including The Quimbies, where he worked with Cornell.

Groovejet will keep the crowd moving when they perform at The Brewery on Saturday night.

Punters can expect to hear songs from Hole, Spiderbait and Jamiroquai as well as Spiller's track Groovejet, of course!
