Ataris Get Great Support

Who: The Ataris, Draw The Line
Where: SJ's on Beaumont
Author: Michael Gadd
When: Wednesday April 18, 2001

Californian punk band The Ataris will be anything but lacking in quality energetic support tonight at SJ's Hotel. Hailing from the Central Coast, One Dollar Short have been turning industry heads since they were signed by Rapido Records and had their debut EP distributed through Festival Mushroom records last year.

Opening the night will be Newcastle's answer to Lagwagon, Draw The Line. Draw the Line are a five-piece local power pop punk band who supported Canadian old school punkers Dayglo Abortions on their most recent tour.

They will be selling 'Draw the Line' T-shirts with all profits going to CanTeen, an organisation that helps teenagers and children with cancer.

They will also play with ChinChen at the Northern Star Hotel on Friday.
