Who: The Testeagles

THE stars of last year's DOGBITE festival, Adelaide's TESTEAGLES, will return to Maitland this weekend to deliver a second knockout blow.

Playing at 8.30pm, before hometown heroes THE SCREAMING JETS take to the stage, the Testeagles have been writing a second album since completing a national tour in June.

Nearly all shows were sold out, buoyed by the success of the debut album NON COMPREHENDUS on the TRIPLE J airwaves.

Non Comprehendus was recorded in just under three weeks with noted producer PAUL MCKERCHER (YOU AM I, SPIDERBAIT) and mixed by ULRICH WILD (DEFTONES, PANTERA, WHITE ZOMBIE and GRINSPOON). Testeagles wowed audiences last year with a crunching collection of scything guitars and squalling FX.
