SIX years after the release of their debut album, Sydney hellraiser NITOCRIS has released a follow-up album, not that the band hasn't been flat chat in between drinks.
Far from it. The hard-rocking, heavy-hitting five-piece, playing on Wednesday, July 26 at SJ's Hotel, has released three-EPs, played hundreds of music festivals and built up a loyal following all over the country, including Newcastle, since 1994.
Now PHANTOM RECORDS has released the self-titled NITOCRIS album, containing 14 new tracks and a special bonus disc containing six 'classic Nitocris' tracks from previous EPs.
The bonus disc contains the title track of TEN STORIES DOWN, HAEMORRHAGING SOULS from the SCREAMING DOLOROUS EP, SYCOPHANT from the HYPERLAND EP, the title track from the BUTTER EP, FEEL from the DARK SIDE single and I LOVE ROCK'N'ROLL from the ROCK compilation.
