AFTER roping 10 national number one singles in her career, TANIA KERNAGHAN seems confirmed as Australia's number one contemporary country music cowgirl.

Kernaghan, playing at Club Phoenix on Saturday, August 5, has branded herself in the country way with her latest single WHEN I RIDE from her latest album DANCING ON WATER.

The self-professed horse lover regularly performs at the NATIONAL RODEO CHAMPIONSHIPS and recently accepted the position of vice patron to PRINCESS ANNE on behalf of the NATIONAL RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION.

BLUES ROCK: TAKE some blues-driven rock, add '110 years of combined musical experience', stir vigorously and what you have is MELTING POT, playing this Saturday night at the Cardiff Soccer Club.

The four-piece band promises 'top quality dance music and great times for every body' at Saturday night's CHRISTMAS IN JULY function at the club.

Members of Melting Pot are drummer RICHARD COOK, guitarist JOHN HUARD, bass player DAVE ROSS and singer/percussionist PAT MALONE.

Melting Pot will be gigging again on Saturday, July 29, at the Wickham Park Hotel, and Saturday, August 5, at Jewells Tavern.
