IN Ballina the debut, seven-track, self-titled, self-distributed debut CD by North Coast band SEVEN outsold FOLLOW THE LEADER by KORN on the strength of home-turf loyalty.

Tonight, Wednesday, February 23, at SJ's Hotel, Seven will be showcasing material from their latest CD SUPERIORITY COMPLEX, which has had COSTA ZOULIOU from TRIPLE J'S THREE HOURS OF POWER in a spin.

Back in 1998 Triple J's RICHARD KINGSMILL first played the single FOR WANT OF A BETTER NAME, describing Seven as 'one of the best new talents to emerge in 1998'.

Since then Seven has been a fixture on all the best festivals, including EXTREME GAMES, GLENWORTH VALLEY, VANS WARPED and SURF SKATE SLAM, playing alongside SOULFLY in January.
