LIFE after ROMPER ROOM for KIM ANTHONY has involved looking through the magic mirror, back into the music of the 1950s and 1960s rock'n'roll, country music and old-time cabaret. The WILD HEART trio will perform this Saturday night at Kahibah Bowling Club. The trio has a hectic dance card for the month of August, at Lambton Bowling Club, Merewether RSL Club, Wallsend Bowling Club, Windale Bowling Club and Australs Soccer Club.

BLUES FEST: ONE of the very best of Australian blues line-ups is set to arrive at The Entrance in November for BLUES CENTRAL 2000. The two-day event, at Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club, Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26, will feature DON WALKER, THIRD DEGREE, THE HIPPOS, HAT FITZ, CHRIS WILSON & SHANE O'MARA, ROCKBOTTOM JAMES & THE DETONATORS, DUTCH TILDERS and JAMES T & THE LAST VOLUNTEERS and more. Tickets on sale for $70 (weekend pass) in October.

RISQUE REVUE: THE sexy and sensuous BYRDS OF PARADISE female revue will titillate members and guests at the Shortland RSL Club this Saturday night. Comedian HOBO will compere the racy revue.

STOCKO ROCK: STOCKTON locals and SJ's Hotel BAND SLAM winners DURIS DEER will perform at Stockton Bowling Club this Saturday night. The five-piece group plays LED ZEPPELIN, DOORS and HENDRIX covers. Earlier this year the group won $2000 worth of cash and recording time by winning three heats of the SJ's Band Slam.
