A NEW bass player, new songs and a CD launch will make HEDDY'S REVENGE one of the hottest rock outfits around in September.

The EP Game Over, with four songs, will be the first CD the group has released.

Rob Zlocinski is now on board playing bass, replacing Simon Hill, while Nadia Lewis remains on lead vocals along with Lib Jones on drums, Andrew Coty on guitar and Steve Beautement on lead guitar.

Thursday, August 24 will see the five hit the Expozay Band Comp for the second time since coming up against VILLAIN and LIMEN 10 last year.

The original members all met at St Francis Xavier's High School and pride themselves on their original music that draws from funk, rock, pop and punk. Their first gig was in May last year at the Hunter on Hunter.

This year has seen the band surface at notable gigs such as the opening of the Palais youth venue and at SJs on Beaumont with Melbourne chart hits Deadstar.

They also supported NITOCRIS at SJs in July.
