FOR five years JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR was blessed with the vocal talent of Australian musician and actor JON ENGLISH .

ENGLISH'S latest project, BUSKERS AND ANGELS is ready to take to the stage after 10 years of preparation.
The show is the story of The Busker, a man with a mysterious past, content to forsake fame and fortune to sing on the street. He meets a talented young singer named Lee whose rapid rise to stardom is followed by the inevitable fall from grace.
The world premiere of BUSKERS AND ANGELS will be staged in Newcastle in October 2000, before the musical tours the nation.
