When: Saturday April 8, 2000

A HIGH energy, open-air circus with its own live band, acrobats, group juggling, comedy and slapstick will take to the stage at The Palais Royale this weekend.

PRECARIOUS, a 'company of 10 self-described lunatics', will perform at The Palais Royale Newcastle City Council youth venue on Saturday at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.

The troupe will again perform at The Palais on Thursday, April 13, before two Lake Macquarie performances at the Hunter Region Athletics and Gymnastics Centre, Glendale. The athletics centre performances will take place on Saturday, April 15, 4pm, and Sunday, April 16, 2pm.

The latest show from Precarious, called CIRCUS MONOXIDE, was created in 1996 for the BATHURST 1000 RACE WEEK and has been in constant demand ever since.

Tickets are available from Newcastle and Lake Macquarie library branches.

TE has two family passes, worth $35 each, to Saturday's performance of CIRCUS MONOXIDE to give away.

To go in the draw mail an envelope, with your name, address and telephone number on the back, to CIRCUS MONOXIDE GIVEAWAY, PO Box 615, Newcastle, 2300.
