When: Friday April 21, 2000

CARDIFF Workers Club has organised a special concert this Friday as a prelude to Tuesday's Anzac Day commemorations.

ATTEN-SHUN, featuring JOHNNY PACE and NIKI DENE, is a HEY HEY IT'S FRIDAY tribute to the songs and performers from both World Wars, with audience sing-alongs and costume changes.

Dene will deliver a VERA LYNNE medley during her set.

Comedian Pace will impersonate wartime favourites such as MAX MILLER, ROBB WILTON, FLANAGAN AND ALLEN and GEORGE FORMBY. Some of the songs Pace performs include THE CHEEKY CHAPPIE, THE DAY THE WAR BROKE OUT, UNDERNEATH THE ARCHES and LEANING ON A LAMPOST. TE
