Crunch Time For the Next Generation

Who: Crunch Time
Where: Toronto Hotel
When: Friday September 3, 1999

LEAD guitarist PAUL MELNYK and his cousin drummer AARON MELNYK have two very experienced band members to learn from in their group CRUNCH TIME, playing this Friday night at the Toronto Hotel.

Lead singer, rhythm guitarist and keyboard player WARREN NEWMAN and guitarist STEVE MELNYK have played together for more than 25 years on the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle.

Now Steve is passing on that knowledge to his teenage son Aaron and teenage nephew Paul in a show billed as 'a tribute to the history of rock', from the 1960s right up until the 1990s.

There's more than 50 classic rock songs in the band's repertoire, including Oz rock greats by AC/DC, JIMMY BARNES, THE CHOIRBOYS, THE SCREAMING JETS and THE LIVING END. The band also draws from the United States covering groups such as STEPPENWOLF, METALLICA, SPIN DOCTORS, THE EAGLES and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS.
