CHILDREN have been invited to dress up for a special surprise party this weekend in a magical garden filled with giant flowers, toadstools and a pirates ships set for adventure.
The FAIRY PRINCESS'S SURPRISE PARTY, this Saturday at Whitebridge High School, Lonus St, Whitebridge, is a costume party waiting to happen for excited young fairies, pirates and pixies.
But mums and dads are asked to remind youngsters to keep it under their hats - after all, it's a surprise party for the guest of honour, the Fairy Princess, you know!
There will be two shows at 10am and midday, with all proceeds going to the NEWCASTLE PLAYGROUP ASSOCIATION. The Fairy Princess, Pete the Friendly Pirate, Busby The Bee 'and their pixie and bilby friends', will entertain youngsters with games, singing, dancing and stories.
