Who: Crawl

MAITLAND band CRAWL is destined for greater heights after the release of its debut CD, THIS IS NOW. The tight three-piece group has been together for the past two years and boasts a unique style best described as 'experimental with an underlying deep and thick groove'.

THIS IS NOW was recorded in March by Maitland music stalwart TONY HEADS at his KEYNOTE STUDIOS. 'We all have different musical influences which has helped us achieve a certain degree of diversity in our material and help us to transcend any stereotyping or strict categorisation,' said band spokesman STEVEN MURPHY. Artwork for the band's CD was done by local artist SEAN SMITH. Crawl is AARON BURTON on bass, STEVEN MURPHY on guitars and vocals and ADAM NOY on drums.

The album is being played on 103.7 2NUR-FM and the band will be performing around the Hunter during June.

The CD is available at all SOUNDWORLD outlets for $14.95.
