AFTER emerging from a thick cloud of smoke and flashing orange lights members of retro covers band CHART BUSTERS rounds up its audience with toy guns, wearing overalls and white hard hats.
Just in case you were wondering, the band, playing on Friday night at the Brewery, doesn't take itself too seriously on stage.
Taking its name from the blockbuster GHOSTBUSTERS it does take its commitment to entertaining audiences seriously, once the band is sure it has complete and undivided attention.
As well as Top 40 hits the band draws from a selection of 'standard Retro' fare, by groups such as J GEILS BAND, MARTHA & THE MUFFINS, B-52S, VILLAGE PEOPLE and the VIOLENT FEMMES. The band has several options for rock crowds too with a big bag of material by AC/DC, COLD CHISEL, ZZ TOP, LED ZEPPELIN, THE ANGELS and HOODOO GURUS. TE
