Fun on stage

Who: Blast from the Past
Where: Ace Of Clubs (Wallsend RSL)
When: Friday May 14, 1999

FUNNY blokes BLAST FROM THE PAST don't take themselves too seriously, which is an attitude that becomes infectious at live gigs.

Playing at the Wallsend RSL Ace of Clubs this Friday night, the group plays music from the 1950s through to the 1990s, but the emphasis is on having a good time live on stage.

And when the band has fun so does the audience.

The band features SCOTT HARRIS on lead vocals, MARTIN WOODWARD on lead guitar and vocals, ANDREW TWEEDIE on keyboards and vocals, CHRIS JONES on bass guitar and PETER STEF on drums and vocals.

The group recently pumped up the number of songs in its 1980s bracket, learning new material by bands such as AUSTRALIAN CRAWL, BILLY IDOL and HOOTIE & THE BLOWFISH.
