Time for Boogie

Who: Lonesome Boogie
Where: New Orana Hotel
When: Friday July 30, 1999

IF you love your music with a bit of swank then Friday night's HARP ATTACK gig at the New Orana, featuring the Hawkesbury's own LONESOME BOOGIE, will give your pants the kick it needs.

Blacksmiths harmonica virtuoso REX 'HONEYBOY' HILL will join the feted Lonesome Boogie on stage this week as a special guest of the band and regular harmonica man 'LIL' KENNY SUTHERLAND. The band's guitarist and elder statesman 'LONESOME' HARVEY FISK promises that the group will be 'sure to drive these players to heights rarely seen in Australian blues, or American for that matter'.

Lonesome Boogie's repertoire covers the whole spectrum of blues, New Orleans R&B, jump swing, funk, boogie woogie and Southern soul.

Fisk has performed with some of Australia's best during his career, including THE FOREDAY RIDERS, THE KING BEES and RICHARD CLAPTON. TE
