When: Friday December 10, 1999

IN the field of electronic music ERIC CHAPUS, aka ENDORPHIN, is blazing new trails here and overseas.

His debut album EMBRACE, released in June last year, has sold 15,000 copies, which is remarkable for its genre.

This Friday night Chapus will perform his one-man show, complete with light show and dancer, at the Northern Star hotel, where you will be guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

Hailing from the Queensland town of Kuranda, Endorphin piqued ears via TRIPLE J UNEARTHED, with his entry RELAPSE and a heavy use of trip hop beats and a near ambient feel.

Since the release of Embrace, Endorphin has supported international heavyweights MASSIVE ATTACK and PORTISHEAD as well as FAITHLESS nationally, and been released by Sony Music France and Sony Music Germany.

One of the compositions, SATIE, has also been remixed for the CAFE DEL MAR 6 international dance compilation.

Last month Endorphin released a second album, SKIN, 'a tougher, edgier, more urban-sounding' release which is being shipped initially with a remixed version of Embrace.

RE-EMBRACE also contains a multi-media component of the three videos from Embrace that are visually stunning.

TE has two copies of SKIN containing the RE-EMBRACE CD to give away.

To go in the draw mail an envelope, with your name, address and telephone number on the back, to ENDORPHIN GIVEAWAY, PO Box 615, Newcastle, 2300.
