Killer Song Rising

Who: Killing Heidi
Where: The Castle Tavern
When: Wednesday August 18, 1999

VICTORIAN band KILLING HEIDI is racing up the charts with their debut single WEIR, which last week broke into the national Top 30.

Playing tonight at The Castle, at 10pm, the brother and sister songwriting duo of ELLA and JESSE HOOPER have been promising much since the song KETTLE was UNEARTHED by TRIPLE J two years ago.

Ella, 16, and Jesse, 18, are backed by bass player WARREN JENKIN and drummer ADAM PEDRETTI, formerly of NON-INTENTIONAL LIFEFORM. Killing Heidi's record label WAH WAH MUSIC has partnered with ROADSHOW MUSIC, home of SAVAGE GARDEN, to distribute the band through the mighty WARNER MUSIC AUSTRALIA. Wah Wah's creative director PAUL KOSKY is the producer of the single and has worked with songwriters such as NEIL FINN and CROWDED HOUSE. TE
