Playing on Friday night at Toronto Workers Club and Saturday night at Jacks Nitespot Motherfunk has plans 'to resuscitate the funk scene in Newcastle before taking over the world'.

Over the past month of gigging Murphy's stage presence and her band's solid groove have seen the dance floors packed at venues from SJ's Hotel to The Clubhouse Hotel in Maitland.
