No Bus, But Run Was a Hit

LAST month's IRON DUKE RUN from Newcastle to see Hunter bands ARMY OF PRAWNS, PURPLENE and MELVIN STARR was a great success.

About 80 Novocastrians made the trip to Alexandria despite the fact that the planned bus was cancelled. Organiser BADEN SCARR hopes tonight's gig will attract similar interest.

Performing tonight from 8.30pm are THE RODGERS featuring members of SANDPAPER, THE HOAX and ARMS REACH, followed by DOGBITE 99 pinup boys MISCHLING at 9.30pm and BIAS at 10.30pm.
