Sydney pop trio for SJ's

WHITLAMS drummer MIKE RICHARDS and GLIDE guitarist JEREMY SMITH are both members of new Sydney pop trio WOMEN OF TROY playing tonight at SJ's Hotel.

The group also features Canadian-born bass player ROSS GERAGHTY who has toured with CARTER THE UNSTOPPABLE SEX MACHINE and BLEACH. WOMEN OF TROY have a two-track 'demo' CD PEACE AND HAPPINESS which has been described as residing in a 'GREEN DAY/LIVING END vein with vocals at time reminiscent of THE CULT'S IAN ASTBURY'. Joining the group at SJ's Hotel tonight are the Hunter's own pop powerhouse MUZZY PEP.
