ONE of the most enjoyable aspects of the ACOUSTIC CAFE concept at The Star Hotel is its laid-back atmosphere and preference for groups which are able to play quietly.



That's not to say that THE FABLES, playing there every Thursday night, plays its own brand of acoustic rock without intensity and feeling.

The Fables has a four-song demo tape which highlights the vocals and guitar playing of ANTHONY HILL, who is backed by the deft bass playing of JOHN FABLE and the unobtrusive drumming style of BRAD FABLE.
