Dig It Up Tour Gig at Cambridge

What: Dig it Up '98
Where: The Cambridge Hotel
When: Thursday September 17, 1998

UNEARTHED winners LIQUID and TWENTY TWO (formerly Drown) will perform at The Cambridge Hotel on Thursday, September 17, as part of the nation-wide DIG IT UP TOUR 98. Liquid, which won Triple J's Unearthed competition with their song POLARISER, and Sydney band Twenty Two, which won under the mantle of Drown with their song AND, head the line-up completed by local lads SHANK'D. Canberra-based Liquid captured the attention of punters with their debut release, VISIONARY, a self-funded EP featuring a collection of their finely crafted rock songs.

Their follow-up seven track CD, ABDUL'S SECRET MOVIE, spawned the radio-friendly POLARISER, which secured JJJ airplay and made a mark on the alternative charts earlier this year.

Now sporting a freshly signed record deal with Warners, Liquid released their new five-track EP, MARY WONDERS, which was recorded at Sing Sing Studios, on August 24.TE
