Campers into Peats Ridge-Didge Groove

What: Glenworth Valley Festival

TWO days of sun, fun and rock'n'roll are in store for campers headed for the GLENWORTH VALLEY FESTIVAL planned for December 28 and 29 at Cooks Rd, Peats Ridge.

It is the first time the festival has been held at the 2500ha horse riding property.

Bands include MUDHONEY, ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, YOU AM I, GRINSPOON, SUPERJESUS, TISM, THE WHITLAMS and Newcastle's own PORKERS and UNEARTHED winners MUZZY PEP. Just announced are Boston's BUFFALO TOM (pictured), here to promote their first album in three years, SMITTEN. Buffalo Tom shared the same live scene as DINOSAUR JR, SEBADOH, THE PIXIES and JULIANA HATFIELD when they debuted in 1990.

There will be shuttle buses for the 15-minute drive to Glenworth Valley from every train arriving and departing Gosford train station on the days before, during and after the event.

Tickets are $65 for two days, plus booking fee, with camping sites open the day before the event.
