Dirty, Cosmic Bill

Who: Magic Dirt, Cosmic Psychos
Where: The Cambridge Hotel
When: Thursday January 7, 1999

THE nation's premier exponents of blistering, feedback-soaked noise, MAGIC DIRT, are heading to The Cambridge Hotel on Thursday, January 7.

Joining the Geelong band on the bill are Melbourne yobbo-punks COSMIC PSYCHOS. It was once said that Magic Dirt's amps sound like they've been 'rewired in the dark by a deregistered blender mechanic'!

Fronted by ADALITA, one of the wildest women in Australian music, Magic Dirt is an unstoppable feral force.

Conversely Psychos guitarist ROSS KNIGHT is a laconic front man, and a part-time farmer, who writes full-throttle rock on the back of his tractor.

Forceful in its delivery, Psychos' song themes include serial killers, bans on semi-automatic weapons and 'blonde babes with whipped cream'.
