NEWCASTLE model KATRINA DOMINIAK is POSH SPICE in the SPICE GIRLS tribute show SPICED GIRLS, performing at an all-ages gig next month at the Newcastle Workers Club.

Formed nine months ago, each member auditioned for their part 'just like the SPICE GIRLS did, responding to advertisements in a newspaper'.

EMMA BENNETT, who performs the role of BABY SPICE, won a HEY HEY IT'S SATURDAY look-alike competition this year, flying to Melbourne to meet the original Spice Girls.

Other members are MAURITA ALEMAN as SCARY SPICE, VANESSA DECENT as GINGER SPICE and KATERINA ALEXANDROU as SPORTY SPICE. The two-hour concert, on Sunday, January 10, will be open to all ages from 2pm. Tickets are $15, on sale now from the club.

Joining the SPICED GIRLS on stage will be DA-BOYS a tribute show to the BACK STREET BOYS and a range of popular male pop acts.

Some of the artists that Da Boys cover are BOYZONE, CDB, 5-IVE, MICHAEL JACKSON, HANSON, NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, HUMAN NATURE and SAVAGE GARDEN. TE
